Library holds rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources like books, journals, databases, audio- visual materials and e- journals in various disciplines of medical sciences.<\/p><p>Library is adequately furnished and provides air conditioned reading space for students and staff. It provides a spacious reading hall for students along with separate reading section for faculty.<\/p><p>The Library houses all important reference sources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, manuals, statistics and yearbooks. The collection ranges from general to subject specific sources. All the reference sources are stacked in separate section. The Library conducts library orientation sessions for all in the beginning of the academic year which familiarizes the students with library facilities and services and rules regarding issue books.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">All issues\/returns can be made at library counter from<\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\"> 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM (Monday- Friday)<\/strong><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">09.00 AM to 02.00 PM on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a7b4cb5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a7b4cb5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE LIBRARY <\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b193f77 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b193f77\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Here are some rules and regulations that essential for library users:<\/p><ul><li>All the users entering the library must keep their bags and other belongings at the entrance and sign in the register at the checkpoint. Do not leave any valuable at the checkpoint.<\/li><li>Silence should be strictly maintained in the library.<\/li><li>Identity card is compulsory for getting access to the library.<\/li><li>Students should carry their identity card while borrowing books.<\/li><li>Mobile Phones and other devices likely to cause disturbance are not used in the library premises.<\/li><li>Misbehavior in the library is strictly prohibited.<\/li><li>The library books\/journals are not to be spoilt with an underlining or scribbling on pages.
